A new community action group has formed to unite fiscally responsible voters in Bow:

The Challenge

Our town’s budgets and spending decisions no longer reflect the will of the majority.

Every March, about 300 of Bow’s 8,000 residents show up at the Annual town & school meetings.

Just 4% of the population votes on how to spend your tax dollars — small group, big decisions.

👉 The wants of the few, are being financed by the wallets of the many.

Our Mission

BOWTAX exists to inform, unite, and motivate the silent majority — the everyday taxpayers who want practical spending, lower taxes, and a sustainable future for our town.

Bring your vote to the March Town & School Meetings — it is the most powerful tool to effect change.

Send a clear message: Enough is enough. Fiscal responsibility begins with your vote.

👉 Our goal: At least 250 more taxpayers show up and vote for responsible spending.

Why It Matters

Budgets and spending warrants are already being shaped for the 2026–27 fiscal year.
We’ll be gathering information about the proposals, increases, and providing advance summaries to this group.

👉If we don’t attend and vote responsibly, others will speak, vote, and spend for us.
